PICTURE SPECIFICATIONS

Many people know that in these days you don't need to be a Pro to take professional looking pictures, all you need to know is how to make them look as if they were taken by a Pro.

Digital enhancements are great to make your pictures look its best, with them you can make an ordinary girl look like an angel, but after all the glitter, you also need to know that there are several factors to take in consideration in order to make your pictures look good on paper. For the best quality artwork you will need the best quality pictures you can get.

The following is a list of minimum quality specifications, but remember the higher the quality the better your artwork will look:

- 3.1 mega pixels or better at the highest resolution possible

- If it is a scanned picture it needs to be at least 300dpi or higher

- If it is on a jpeg format it needs to be at a resolution of 300dpi at the highest quality

 

The following is a list of things that you should try to avoid using on your project:

- blurred pictures

- over exposed pictures

- Polaroid pictures or any instant snapshots
